Whether physical or digital, architectural models are a key part of our design process. The physical models we build are not precious; they are created to study everything from the building’s massing and proportions to its location on a site and relationship to the sun. After studying, testing out options, and refining, the model becomes a physical illustration of the design intent, a big ask from humble materials.
